There is talk starting to circulate that the U.S.A. may use nuclear weapons against Iran. Anyway you slice it, this is utter insanity. Knowing that, you are probably thinking that America would never just come out and drop bombs on just anybody. Well, lemme jog your memory about American foreign policy over the last 50 years.
Read a good report here
The following is a list of countries the U.S. has bombed since WWII. Now I know what you are thinking: These countries needed to be bombed to protect the World from terrorism, fascism, communism and socialism. You know, to keep the World free from tyranny and opression. Right. Maintain World Peace through perpetual War. So. Here you are. 26 countries. Millions of lives snuffed out. Enjoy.

Colin,
A list like this without the details is merely misleading propaganda.
Example: Kuwait in 1991. This was obviously against Saddams (Iraq) forces who invaded Kuwait.
I say, put the needed effort into investigating what you read or forget about acting like a parrot.
I agree. It is misleading. But it is hardly propaganda.
Guatemala in 1954 was a good example of the U.S. defending its business interests: Guatemala was engaging in some land reform which was a threat to the United Fruit Company — a U.S. owned outfit.
In my defense, this is NOT a research centre… but a BLOG – and I generally link to the pertinent documents.
And yea… I know it sucks to be American right now. Not my problem.
Maybe you can answer me this: Why does the U.S. have military bases, like, everywhere on the Planet. What are you people protecting?
